RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan’s visit to Cyprus has been postponed.
“I spoke with RA Defense Minister Suren Papikyan after the cancellation of his planned visit to Cyprus due to the aggravated border situation. I expressed my full support to the people of Armenia. There is a mutual desire to meet shortly when the circumstances allow,” said the Minister of Defense of Cyprus, Michalis Giorgallas.
In a conversation with Radar Armenia, the spokesperson of the RA Defense Minister, Aram Torosyan, also confirmed, saying: “I confirm that the planned visit of the Minister of Defense to the Republic of Cyprus has been postponed.”
It should be noted that Suren Papikyan had a telephone conversation with Michalis Yorghallas today.
