RA Deputy Ministers of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Vache Terteryan, Hakob Vardanyan, and Kristine Ghalechyan received the delegation led by Jurgen Rigterink, First Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Vache Terteryan welcomed the guests and emphasized further cooperation with the EBRD and its expansion. The deputy minister spoke about the projects in various fields, noting that many were implemented due to effective collaboration with the EBRD.
Jürgen Rigterink thanked everyone for the reception and noted that the purpose of the visit was to discuss and clarify the directions for further cooperation. The head of the delegation was interested in road construction, energy, reservoir construction, and solid household waste management.
Hakob Vardanyan and Christine Ghalechyan presented in detail the implemented and ongoing energy and road construction projects and talked about the Government’s strategy and priorities in these fields.
Other issues of mutual importance were also discussed during the meeting, and an agreement was reached to organize separate meetings with the deputy ministers coordinating the sectors to discuss further work in more detail.
