The EU remains committed to its call to Azerbaijan and Armenia, which is to continue looking for solutions necessary for normalizing relations between the two countries, stated Peter Stano, the chief spokesman for the EU’s foreign affairs and security policy.
“We call on Azerbaijan and Armenia to fulfill their obligations to find a solution on all aspects of the agenda. Whether it is the issue of the Lachine Corridor or the settlement of relations, we are ready to support it.
Mediation efforts are being made by the President of the European Council, Mr. Michel. Our special representative for the region, Toivo Klaa, is now in place, continuing the efforts of the European Union,” Stano said at a briefing in Brussels on Thursday.
