RA MFA spokesperson Ani Badalyan stated in response to RadarArmenia‘s question, “The position of the Armenian side regarding the deployment of the CSTO monitoring mission on the international border of Armenia and Azerbaijan has been presented and voiced in different formats and there is no change in this matter at the moment.”
Let’s remind that the other day, the director of the first department of the CIS countries of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Mikael Aghasandyan, announced that the CSTO is ready to return to the discussion of the issue of deploying an observation mission on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan. They still expect a positive response from Yerevan.
