Matthew Miller, the spokesperson of the US State Department, referred to the telephone conversation between the RA Prime Minister and Secretary of State Blinken, “At the moment, no meeting is scheduled, although we are still looking forward to the next meeting of the ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, I don’t have any information that I can share,” he said.
Speaking about the availability of a peace agreement, he noted: “Let me tell you what we meant when we said it was within reach is that they have made significant progress on several issues. Even at the last meeting, they narrowed down the number of issues that remain unresolved. That’s why we think the agreement is available if the number of issues that need to be resolved is reduced, but it assumes. This, of course, presupposes the willingness of both sides to compromise.”
