Emin Ohanyan scored 6 points out of 9 possible in the “Dubai Open 2023-Category A” tournament, took 7th place, fulfilled the norm of grandmaster, improved his rating by 29 points, and won a prize, informs the Armenian Chess Federation.
Emin has completed the norm for the third time, meaning he only needs to raise his international ranking to 2500 to receive the title. Now Emin’s rating is 2489.
Shant Sargsyan also scored 6 points and took 11th place with additional indicators. Mamikon Gharibyan and Artur Davtyan scored 4 points, and Mariam Mkrtchyan – 3.5 points.
