RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan announced that visa liberalization is one of the issues on the agenda of Armenia and EU member states. He says this topic is discussed and receives support in almost all cases.
“We are actively discussing the topic of visa liberalization. It is on the agenda between us and the EU, or between us and an individual EU member state, is being discussed, and is supported in most or almost all cases. However, a consensus position is needed for the EU to decide. And it has not been possible to reach a consensus within the EU yet,” said Mirzoyan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs assured me that the work on this continues.
