Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has become an unexpected contender for the vacant position of the head coach of “Nobles.”
Julian Nagelsmann and Luis Enrique are considered favorites for the role of the following permanent coach of Chelsea. Both are already in talks with the Blues but prefer to start work in the summer.
Meanwhile, Lampard is currently available for an appointment. That is why Frank’s presence in the stands of Stamford Bridge during the Premier League match against Liverpool the previous day was not accidental.
As claimed by “talkSPORT”, Chelsea bosses are considering signing a short-term contract with Lampard, who coached the “nobles” for a year and a half before his sacking in January 2021.
We should add that Bruno Saltor, who has no independent coaching experience, took charge of Chelsea’s first team after the dismissal of Graham Potter.
