Former US President Donald Trump is accused of falsifying documents and tax evasion.

- The prosecutor said Trump and his accomplices hatched a scheme in 2015 to hide evidence that might come to light before the election.
- The scheme allegedly involved three people bribing two women who had sex with Trump and a former doorman who knew about Trump’s illegitimate son to remain silent.
- Trump has been officially arrested.
- During the charge presentation (2 hours), he became the 1st former president of the USA, with the status of an arrestee.
- Contrary to the procedure, he was not handcuffed or photographed; only fingerprints were taken.
- The detention was finally lifted, and Trump left the court.
