As part of the activities held during the “Days of Francophonie 2023”, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Armenia Anne Luyot visited Gyumri No. 1 school today.
The guests toured the school together with Anna Martikyan, deputy governor of Shirak; Vardges Samsonyan, head of Gyumri community; Hrayr Karapetyan, head of education, culture, and sports department; Naira Tadevosyan, school director, and got acquainted with the school’s achievements, implemented works and plans.
Emphasizing the French language and the values of Francophone cultures, more than twenty events will be held in Yerevan and regions within the framework of “Days of Francophonie 2023”. The program is multi-genre, dedicated to cultural diversity and different values of francophone cultures: cinema, music, theater, debate, modern art, and French language competition.
