To establish a dialogue and cooperation between the “Civil Charter” and the US Democratic parties, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Narek Mkrtchyan, met with Jay Jacobs, the chairman of the New York State Democratic Committee.
“The chairman of the Democratic Committee of New York State is well aware of the changes taking place in Armenia and informed about the activities of the “Civil Contract” party, and for him, it is a priority to support parties that have been able to make a difference in terms of strengthening democratic values.
Emphasizing the democratic values adopted by the “Civil Contract” party, Jacobs expressed his willingness to present and support the democratic reforms adopted by the RA authorities on various platforms. We have agreed to continue contacting Jay Jacobs to strengthen inter-party ties,” said the minister.
