Ambassador of Iran to Armenia, Ambassador Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri, referred to the deployment of the EU civilian observation mission on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. According to him, the Islamic Republic of Iran is not against deploying the EU civilian observation mission and French gendarmes on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.
“Iran’s position is as follows: problems between regional countries should be solved with their participation. Other countries can contribute to ensuring security and peace in the region. The solution of the problems with the participation of the region’s countries can ensure security and peace, based on dialogue and discussions,” Zohouri said.
