Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić-Radman will officially visit Armenia on February 7-8. On February 8, the foreign ministers’ meeting of Armenia and Croatia will take place at the RA MFA, and the press conference of the foreign ministers will follow.
Within the framework of the visit, the Croatian Foreign Minister will also have meetings with the President of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, the Speaker of the National Assembly, the Catholicos of All Armenians, and other officials.
Diplomatic relations between Armenia and Croatia were established in 1994. Meetings and contacts between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Croatia at different levels are periodic. The last political consultations between the two countries foreign ministries took place in Zagreb on December 2-3, 2021.
Armenian-Croatian relations traditionally have a partnership character. Armenia is interested in expanding and deepening cooperation with Croatia in political, trade-economic, cultural, and all other fields of mutual interest, both bilaterally and multilaterally, including within the EU. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, four documents have been signed between Armenia and Croatia.
