The rescue service informs that there are closed and impassable highways in the RA territory. The roads leading from the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Castle and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region are closed.
The Vardenyats mountain pass (on the side of the Gegharkunik region) is closed for trucks with couplings and difficult for other vehicles to pass. The bends of Stepanavan are completed for trucks with collars. The curves of Dilijan are complex for trucks to pass.
Amasia-Berdashen, Akhuryan, Ashotsk, and Artik highways are challenging to pass. The Saravan-Zanger section is open to trucks with couplings only when using tire chains. There is ice in some places on Chambarak city and Gyumri-Yerevan highways.
On Vardenyats mountain pass, Saravan-Zanger, Meghri Mountain sections, the Kotayk, Lori, and Shirak regions, Chambarak, Gavar, Kajaran, Goris, Dilijan, Jermuk, Vaik cities, Ashtarak, Aparan, and Talin regions, and the Yelpin-Chiva highway, there is snow.
There is a storm in Ashotsk, Maralik, Gyumri, Saravan-Zanger, Sisian-Zanger. There is fog in the Kapan, Kajaran, Talin, and Ashtarak regions. Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
According to the information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all vehicles.
