Hayk Konjoryan, head of the “Civil Contract” faction of the RA NA and leader of the Armenia-US friendship group, sent letters today to the members of the US House of Representatives, the co-chairs of the US Armenian Committee, Gus Bilirakis, Frank Pallone, and David Valadao, as well as the vice-chairman of the committee, Adam Schiff.
“As the head of the Armenia-Greece friendship group, I addressed a letter to the head of the Greece-Armenia friendship group Dimitrios Markopoulos, as the chairman of the inter-parliamentary commission on cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, I addressed a letter to my colleague from Cyprus, Harris Georgeades.
I presented details about Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor and the criminal policy of creating a humanitarian crisis in Artsakh.
I called on my colleagues to make all the necessary efforts and increase the international pressure on Azerbaijan to open the Lachin Corridor a day earlier and fulfill its international obligations,” he informed.
