Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei, referring to the US response to Tehran’s 14-point ceasefire proposal, accused Washington of slowing down the diplomatic process.
He noted that the United States is having difficulty giving up its “maximalist habits and unreasonable demands.” According to Baghaei, the Iranian side is dealing with a partner that regularly shifts its positions and raises issues that further complicate the diplomatic process.
However, the spokesman declined to provide specific details of the US response.
