Azerbaijani media reports that the commission established under the Azerbaijani President’s order “On measures to strengthen social protection of servicemen of Azerbaijan Republic” held a meeting and chairman of the Commission, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov, said that the process has already been started, the servicemen who meet certain criteria and have served in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan for 20 years or more are being provided with apartments at the government expenditure.
First the servicemen, who served in combat zones in accordance with certain criteria and wounded during the fighting are being taken into consideration in the decisions passed by the Commission.
The new list of the servicemen, who have been serving for 20 years and distinguished by impeccable service, submitted by the Defense Ministry has been considered at the meeting.
The list of the servicemen were specified, it was decided to provide 337 servicemen with flats at the government expenditure.
