The meeting between Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan and Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud in Saudi Arabia was a significant step towards strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs reports that during the meeting, the parties discussed several issues of mutual interest. An agreement was reached to start cooperation in labor and social protection between the Arabian Gulf Regional Development Fund (AGFUND) under the chairmanship of the prince and the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud presented the fund’s activities, noting that AGFUND cooperates with more than 450 international, regional, and governmental organizations and supports various development projects in about 133 countries. At the end of the meeting, Al Saud accepted Minister Mkrtchyan’s invitation to visit Armenia.
