In this Report three measures to the Report family of indices are introduced —the inequality-adjusted Human Development index, the gender inequality index, and the multidimensional poverty index. These state-of-the-art measures incorporate recent advances in theory and measurement and support the centrality of inequality and poverty in the human development framework.
The ranking table includes 169 countries headed by Norway, followed by Australia and New Zealand.
UN human development ranking table listed Turkey the 83rd, Azerbaijan the 67th, Georgia the 74th and Russia the 65th.
Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe conclude the list.
