The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lebanon continues to operate in an emergency mode, providing the necessary consultation and consular services. The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports this.
“The hotlines operated by the Embassy continue to operate: +961 3 157 305, +961 3 536 041. Lebanese airspace is open. Direct flights between Beirut and Yerevan operate twice a week.
Regular meetings are held with Armenian citizens in Lebanon to discuss the scope of potential challenges arising from developments and to address additional work as necessary.
On April 17, the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed the establishment of a 10-day ceasefire in Lebanon, which became a reality thanks to the US President’s mediation efforts and is an important step towards reducing tensions.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed hope that this development will contribute to the establishment of comprehensive and lasting peace in the region, respecting the territorial integrity of the parties,” the statement says.
