Today in the meeting with the journalists the political expert Stephan Grigoryan said Russia is a serious country with a serious leader and it understands its incapability to unite the CIs countries around him. All this is done to divert the attention of the European elite leaders.
Grigorian added there is no ideological base for the Eurasian union but it already causes animated discussions.
As to the political expert, Armenia has to decide the rules of its own game. It is clear the EU has distinct priorities and those who deal with it clearly know where they are going. The case is not the same with Russia. It becomes obvious Armenia has to deepen the military strategic aspects with Russia, while cooperating with the EU in all the other spectra, Grigorian states.
Since Armenia has no direct boundary with the CU, Russia does not press too much on the membership of Armenia to the CU, Grigoryan concluded.
