OSCE / Office for democratic institutions and human rights (ODIHR) will monitor Armenian presidential elections held in 2013, February 18.
As reported, the number of observers will be as many as it was during the last parliamentary elections.
Note, during RA parliamentary election, the number of observers was 258.
Thomas Reimer, spokesman of OSCE/ODIHR, announced that there will be 24 long-termed observers who will visit Armenia 2 weeks before the elections start and added that those who will be short-termed observers will come to Armenia a few days before the elections.
We should recall that starting from December 8, Armenian organizations can apply for monitoring the elections, but till today, no such organization was registered for doing it.
