The First Armenian News and Analyses reports on December 17 the NA session on foreign affairs permanent commission took place with Artak Zakaryan as the head where the MPs discussed changes done in the NATO and Armenia agreement on the participation of Armenian military contingent stay in Afghanistan.
The deputy minister of Defense Ara Nazaryan informed the aim of the agreement is to prolong the stay of the Armenian troops in Afganistan for the international peace establishment process up to December 31, 2014.
According to the Ministry of Finance the Armenian side does not take the financial responsibility of the stay.
The commission gave its positive approval of the discussed bill and will hear it on the nearest session.
