Georgian media reports that country’s foreign minister Maia Panjikidze on November 28 left for her first official visit to the United States.
As Panjikidze said, it is the first official visit of a new Georgian government’s representative to the country, a strategic partner and in this sense it is important.
“This is the first visit to the country which is a strategic partner and it is important. I will meet with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with the Congress and Senate members, as well as with representatives of the local media outlets,” Panjikidze said.
