Georgian media reports that a new Director General has been appointed to the Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia.
As reported, new head David Tvalabeishvili was introduced by executive director of the Georgian Partnership Fund Irakli Kovzanadze and Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze.
According to Kovzanadze, Tvalabeishvili has extensive experience in the oil and gas sphere, because he served as project manager for USAID, as well as the Tbilisi Office of the World Bank for several years.
“Appointing Tvalabeishvili will strengthen the company and its interests, its cost, will make the company more developed in terms of management, respectively, the corporation will have closer links with the Partnership Fund,” Kovzanadze said, stressing that Oil and Gas Corporation of Georgia will address challenges that face the state.
