Azerbaijani media, citing the announcement of country’s Minister of Economic Development, Shahin Mustafayev, reports that on November 14 the opening of a representative office of Dubai Chamber of Commerce is being held in Baku.
“This is the only mission of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce outside the UAE, which shows a high level of relations between the two countries,” said Mustafayev adding “Some 122 companies with UAE capital are operating in Azerbaijan. They are making progress. For example Fly Dubai is functioning very successfully which also strengthens the cooperation”.
According to him the priority areas for increased cooperation between Azerbaijan and the UAE are the non-oil sector, tourism, agriculture, development of transit field, industry and there is potential for cooperation in all these areas
