Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said today while discussing the bill on the state budget for 2013 that the Azerbaijani state budget expenses on science have increased by 55 percent.
“The expenditures on health care in this period increased by 65.6 percent, social security – 72 percent, sports – 82 percent,” Sharifov said.
According to him, Azerbaijan’s state budget income next year are planned to reach 19.154 billion manat (34.2 percent of GDP projected for 2013), expenses – 19.81 billion manat (35.2 percent of GDP).The expenditures in 2013 will increase by 12.1 percent compared to 2012 and by 28.7 percent compared to 2011.
Compared to the predicted data as of late 2012, the share of budget profits in the country’s GDP will increase by one percentage point, expenditures – by 0.9 percentage points.
“The state budget deficit is predicted at 656 million manat (1.1 percent of GDP) compared to the forecast for 2012 at 634 million (1.2 percent of GDP),” he said.
