Azerbaijani media reports that NATO imposes an embargo on the sale of weapons and military vehicles to Armenia and Azerbaijan, because they have military conflict.
According to NATO officials, despite this, the Alliance member states can individually pass decisions to sell weapons to Azerbaijan and Armenia: “It depends on them”.
The Alliance officials consider that military participation of NATO in the South Caucasus region can violate stability in the region.
