Azerbaijani media, citing the sources in the Azerbaijani embassy to India, Nepal and Sri-Lanka, reports that an international conference ‘Return to the Silk Way. India and Silk Way countries: cultural ties, modern challenges’ has been held at the Indian university of Jawaharlal Nehru.
As reported, speaking in the conference, ambassador Hajiyev informed about Azerbaijan’s achievements in foreign and domestic policy, economic and political success of Azerbaijan over the past few years, the historical and cultural ties of Azerbaijan and India.
The source informs that the exhibition held as part of the conference featured Azerbaijani national clothes, books, magazines and other printed and video production prepared by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
