Chief of Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of Georgia Giorgi Kalandadze is formally charged, attorney Gogita Gabaidze told journalists in front of the Tbilisi police.
He noted that the general are charged on the third part of the 333rd article of the Criminal Code of Georgia – abuse of power.
Gabaidze said that the official position of his client will be announced after 2-3 days, after reviewing the evidence presented by the prosecution.
