Azerbaijani sources report that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to U.S. President Barack Obama for the occasion of his re-election.
“A sincere friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation in all fields unite Azerbaijan and the United States. Our joint participation in ensuring global energy security, the fight against international terrorism, achieving peace and stability in conflict areas increased relations between the two countries to the level of strategic partnership. Our countries will continue to cooperate closely in these areas.
Azerbaijan has great hopes with the U.S. as a co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group, towards fair settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. ”
President Ilham Aliyev wished Barack Obama great success in his further activities for the welfare of the friendly American people.
