Russian media reports that country’s PM Dmitriy Medvedev, wrote in his official “Facebook” page that he is glad that the president of a very big and influential state, United States, will not be the man who considers Russia No 1 enemy for US.
“Barack Obama is a clear and predictable for us. We can have personal sympathies or misunderstandings but predictability is an important quality for policy. In this sense Barack Obama is quite a predictable partner for Russia and I do hope that Russia will have normal relations with him and it is important for the general situation in the world” said the statement.
