80 million GEL transferred by Bidzina Ivanishvili to the budget before the elections, which he sent to help the victims in Kakheti, were returned to the billionaire. This was stated by the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia David Narmania at today’s press conference.
“As far as I know, the penalty listed by Bidzina Ivanishvili has not been used to help the affected region of Kakheti. This amount is in the account of the National Bureau of execution and was returned to Bidzina Ivanishvili, as an illegally paid penalty, “- said Narmania.
Recall that Bidzina Ivanishvili was fined for various violations in the election for 80 million GEL. Ivanishvili agreed to pay this amount in the condition that the money will go to help victims of the disaster in Kakheti.
