The new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maia Panjikidze officially took up her responsibilities on Friday. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs she was met by former head of the ministry, Grigol Vashadze. As Georgian sources report Vashadze told the journalist being glad previous priorities remained unchanged. “All those who come and go in this ministry have once worked together. We have a common homeland and it is still necessary to protect the interests of our country as before. So we collectively reviewed all the issues that need to be settled, reviewed and continued”, told Vashadze.
