Georgian meida reports that Bidzina Ivanishvili, the future Georigan PM, said that the de-monopolization of the economy, the development of agriculture and small and medium entrepreneurship will be one of the priorities of the economic policy of the new Georgian government.
Ivanishvili also stressed the importance of pension reform which implies a transition to an accumulative system, but still ensures adjusting the pensions with the cost of living and health care reform. All Georgian citizens will be provided with a universal basic health insurance package at the first stage.
The government plans to introduce a taxation mechanism in fiscal policy based on the principle of fairness, Ivanishvili said.
