Azerbaijani media reports that the country’s Defense Minister Safar Abiyev received a delegation headed by Commander of the U.S. Transportation Command William Fraser on Oct.19.
At the meeting the sides also exchanged views on issues of military cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States, the situation in the region, and Azerbaijan’s important role in the peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan.
