On October 16 “Heritage” party general secretary Styopa Safaryan and the head of the parliamentary faction Zaruhi Postanjyan took part in the political assembly of the European People’s Party in Bucharest.
In the framework of the EPP events Postanjyan and Safaryan held meetings and discussions with delegated from different countries and with EPP officials. Meetings were held, in particular, with EPP President Wilfred Martens, Vice President Jacek Saryuz Volsky, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, PACE President Jean-Claude Mignon, and other national delegations and deputies of the European People’s Party.
“Heritage” party representatives spoke about Armenia’s domestic political situation, the upcoming presidential elections, EPP- “Heritage” full cooperation. The parties are also interested in the position of the “Heritage” party on regional and foreign policy issues.
