Official sources inform that the Azerbaijani Diaspora will be represented in the new Georgian parliament.
According to Georgian Dream’s party lists, Ali Mammadov and Mahir Darbiyev were elected to parliament.
The deputy of United National Movement Azer Suleymanov won single mandate elections in Marneuli electoral district again.
Georgian Dream will have 85 deputies in parliament, while United National Movement – 65.
According proportional system, Georgian Dream has 44 mandates, United National Movement -33. The coalition will have 41 majority deputies, while former ruling party – 32.
Recall that parliamentary elections took place in Georgia on October 1. Some 2 150 197 electors took part in the elections, 54.9 per cent of which supported Georgian Dream.
