EU Ambassador to Georgia Philip Dimitrov said today that European Union will allocate 670 million euro to Georgia.
“Some funds will be spent for the state budget and others – for specific projects. Nevertheless, we continue cooperating in various fields, namely increasing the independence and effectiveness of the courts, penitentiary reforms, agricultural and regional projects.” he said.
The central theme of the conference was the situation in Georgia after the parliamentary elections, in which took part 14 parties and two political blocks.
According to the CEC’s complete preliminary data, the Georgian Dream coalition will have 83 deputy mandates, while United National Movement – 67.
The leader of Georgian Dream Bidzina Ivanishvili has already offered candidates for ministers for approval in new government.
He said that he is going to take the post of prime minister.
