“Opening of Nagorno Karabakh airport without mutual agreement will hurt the negotiation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”- on October 10th announced the special representative of the incumbent chairman of OSCE Anjey Kaspshik.
“The territory where the airport is situated is in Nagorno Karabakh –sovereign territory of Azerbaijan. That’s why the issue is highly dependent on Azerbaijan’s position.”- said Kaspshik.
“The exploitation of Stepanakert airport contradicts the international law and hurts the process of peaceful regulation of the conflict.”- he said.
Earlier Armenian mass media spread information that NKR airport will be exploitet. Azerbaijani FM urged the international companies to stop the illegal activities in the occupied territories.
