Today during the meeting with journalists, military expert Davit Jamalyan spoke about the recent military-political developments.
He noted that latest war games in RA are the most important events of RA military political life which are army’s preparations for war. From this viewpoint the expert found important coming military trainings in Artsakh, where according to Jamalyan’s words new weapon will be probed. “We must appreciate such events, which aim at controlling the situation.”- said the speaker.
Speaking on the opening of Stepanakert airport and on that context the threats from Turkey and Azerbaijan, he said that Erdogan’s announcements are expected. According to Jamalyan’s words Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem has strategic importance. “Many air roads pass by our country, I don’t think that Turkey will close any way, our country is transit district, such a step will be a serious threat for many countries. This must be discussed more in the moral-psychological domain.
There is no need of panic from Azerbaijani threats. They won’t do anything knowing that we may take a counter action.”- elaborated Davit Jamalyan continuing that only President’s initiative to be the first passenger is not enough. By his account Azerbaijan may be encouraged by Turkish-Syrian clashes, but they won’t take any step if they don’t have any privilege towards RA. “There are many conditions taking Turkey back. There will still be tension but nothing more.”- noted Davit Jamalyan.
