Global humanitarian crises at levels unmatched in recent history (video)

The video shared by UNHCR covers in brief the recent humanitarian crises in Mali, Syria and South Sudan. WFP and UNHCR are currently conducting joint operations in 37 countries…helping almost 10 million refugees, returnees and displaced people. As Antonio Guterres, High Commissioner for Refugees, noted “Already in 2011, as crisis after crisis unfolded, more than 800,000 people crossed borders in search of refugee – an average of more than 2,000 refugees every day. This is higher than at any time in the last decade.”
