According to the final preliminary CEC data, besides Tbilisi, Georgian Dream has obtained mandates in majority districts in the following areas: Sagarejo, Telavi, Akhmeta, Tianeti, Rustavi, Mtskheta, Dusheti, Kazbegi, Kaspi and Gori, Kareli, Borjomi, Oni, Mestia, Kharagauli, Sachkhere, Zestafoni, Bagdati, Samtredia, Khoni, Tkibuli, Kutaisi, Ozurgeti, Lanchuti, Chokhatauri, Poti, Batumi, Kobuleti, Khelvachauri.
MPs’ mandates will be distributed in the single-mandate constituencies after the court proceedings complete. “Georgian Dream” contests the opponents’ victory in eight constituencies, while United National Movement – in one.
After counting 99.8 per cent of the votes, “Georgian Dream” keeps a leading position with 54.9 per cent, while United National Movement – 40.4 per cent in the proportional election system.
