Manager of the World Bank (WB) on Azerbaijan, Rufiz Chiragzadze, at a forum held in Baku, told country’s media that the financial system of Azerbaijan made a significant contribution to the economic development of the country.
According to him, the rapid development of the financial sector and financial services in Azerbaijan are provided mainly by the banks.
“It is necessary to expand the financial services industry since the greater will be the volume of it, the more rapidly the country’s financial sector and the economy will develop” said Chiragzadze.
