EU ambassador to Azerbaijan, Roland Kobia, told country’s media that Azerbaijan will be able to take all necessary actions to simplify the visa regime with the European Union.
“We are preparing for the next round of negotiations on visa facilitation between Azerbaijan and the EU and signing a readmission agreement” said Kobia, adding “the next meeting will be held in Baku in November. We expect progress and hope that Azerbaijan will be able to take all the necessary actions”.
According to him the main obstacle to the acceleration of this process is the signing of a readmission agreement and the negotiations on the association agreement between the EU and Azerbaijan are underway
