On October 3rd the Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev received the former FM of Italy Franco Frattini, reports Azerbaijani mass media linking to the official website of the president of Azerbaijan. During the meeting the parties appreciated the importance of the international humanitarian forum to be held in Baku from the point of view of the growing interest in cooperation between the two states.
The interlocutors stressed the successful progress in cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy and assured the further enlarged cooperation between the two states. Thoughts were exchanged on Azerbaijan-Italy and Azerbaijan-EU cooperation.
