American diplomats wish that the new parliament of Georgia, that will come to power after elections would cooperate with Saahakashvili’s parliament, announced Bidzina Ivanishvili, the head of “Georgian Dream” party.
He said that he had a meeting with the directors of NDI, IRI, with senators who expressed a wish for the incumbent opponents- the coalition and Saahakashvili’s party to start cooperation.
“America wants us to be its younger partner and wants us to be in good terms with the incumbent parliament. They expressed a wish that I call Saahakashvili. I didn’t refuse but showed that it may not happen today. Such attempts are normal, I think.”- announced Ivanishvili.
He stressed that he will not mind to cooperate, as he is personally experienced in cooperation with different people, but stressed that it may not be easy for Saakashvili, as the latter has no experience in cooperation. Bidzina Ivanishvili reminded how Sahakashvili behaved when one MP asked him an unpleasant question and in turn Saahakashvili threatened to beat him.
