“We would do the same if an Armenia had killed an Azerbaijani”- Hungarian PM announced in parliament.
Victor Orban declared that Azerbaijani murderer’s extradition was a “right and legitimate” decision enabling Hungary to get out of Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict.
Hungarian MTI news agency reports that answering to the Hungarian MP, former FM Laslo Kovach’s announcement that the convict was glorified in Azerbaijan, Orban said that the decision of his government corresponds to international law and Hungarian legal practice.
Kovach had also noted that by this step Hungary interfered in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict adding that Hungarian ministries of justice and foreign affairs were against the decision.
Stressing that Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict will continue, Orban still insisted that “Hungary went out of it by the convict’s extradition”.
