The clashes between the Government and opposition continue in Syria’s Trade Centre Aleppo, especially in the districts which are populated with great number of Armenians. The situation has not changed in recent days; clashes continue in Christian communities populated with Armenians and also outside those districts.
It was very difficult but “1in.am News and Analysis” managed to connect with Aleppo and talk to Batman of Berio Diocese Zhirayr Rasisyan. He said that, fortunately, there are not many human losses in the Armenian districts, though bombs can explode in any place anytime.
“Clashes are mainly raised in Armenian and Christian populated distincts, so it is natural that bomb as well as bullets can be used. But fortunately we do not have victims. We have a lot of material damage, damage is great in work places and factory constructions, sometimes all the damage is because of fires, but we almost do not have human losses. One Armenian lady was killed on Saturday evening, some other Armenians are slightly injured, they were immediately provided with medical help”, said Zhirayr Rayisyan.
