At the 20th European Wushu Championship held in Lyon, France, Armenian teams across age groups won 27 medals, including 14 gold (13 in sanda, 1 in taolu), 11 silver (8 in sanda, 3 in taolu), and 2 bronze (both in sanda). In the adult competition, the Armenian team won 5 gold and 5 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals.

It should be noted that Armenia participated in the European Championship with 29 athletes. 24 athletes competed in Sanda, and 5 in Taolu. Armenia was also represented at the championship with a refereeing team—the Armenian delegation left for the competition site, led by the federation president, Rustam Alaverdyan.
